Outstanding meal and amazing service. There is a monthly menu which changes each month and a special of the day on Friday/Saturday. We had the pork belly served in a pea soup with an egg; it was delicious, sweet, and surprisingly sophisticated. I ordered it because I thought the combination sounded a bit odd but I'm glad I did because I was amazed. My wife and I can't wait to come back to try something new when we're back in town!

A very unique eatery with a very creative menu. Small town feel with big city flavor. I had a butter leaf salad with dill pickle ranch and despite not normally liking dill, it was super yummy. Then I had the ribeye, cooked to perfection and simply seasoned. The Hong Kong and Earl grey tea gelato were also lovely. I had originally come here for the prime rib but it wasn't on the menu that day. The waitress told us that if we came back, to just call ahead and ask for it and she would make it. How awesome is that?!?

This place is great. Delicious food, cool beer, and good mocktails. And it is worth eating here just for variety and the atmosphere alone. The menu changes frequently for lunch, so checking their online menu is best. There are also a lot of vegetarian options here. I would recommend this to just about anyone looking for a new place to eat. I think it's one of the best new restaurants around.

Food is wonderful , fresh ingredients this place would be booming in a larger city so give it a try you won’t be disappointed. I had a Mango Tini Mocktail, Roast beef special , Steak and Ale pie

First time at Angie's. Enjoyed a delicious set 4 course Italian family style dinner there this past Wednesday. Handmade ravioli, white minestrone soup, veal marsala topped with a ricotta stuffed zucchini blossom and decadent lemon tiramisu for dessert. I was so impressed! My only issue is that the atmosphere doesn't reflect the quality & innovation of the food (I would love to get my hands on designing the interior). Chef Angie's culinary talents are a rare gem for a small town like Independence, Virginia. I sincerely hope that excellence of this scale does not go unappreciated by locals. As for myself, I plan to become an Angie's Sip & Taste regular!

We stopped in Independence VA overnight during the Hwy 21 yard sale event. Angie's did not disappoint. The food was delicious and service was excellent.
